VILT(2+)

Een zachte dansvoorstelling over wol, beweging en verbeelding

A co-production with the 2turvenhoog Festival

What happens when you dance on wool?
When you roll, stomp, push and turn – and something new slowly begins to form beneath your feet?

In VILT, wool slowly transforms into felt.
Not by itself. Through movement. Through rhythm. By dancing together.

The performers move to live music — with each other and with the children.

You may watch.
You may join in.
You may simply be there.

For little feet that want to roll and stomp.
And for children who want to jump, discover and move.

A world of wool, sheep, movement and music.
You might even smell the scent of sheep.

Slowly the floor begins to change.
Wool becomes felt.
Movement shapes the material.

A soft, physical experience in which body, rhythm and imagination take centre stage.
For those who are curious.
For those who prefer to watch quietly.
Or roll around with all their energy.

After the performance, children are invited onto the stage.
To play with wool.
To make music with pieces of wood.
To create a small craft.

A playful, gentle ending to the performance.
