What does it mean to feel at home somewhere?

In Wo bin ich zu Hause?, Plan d- invites you to reflect on where you come from, where you are now, and where you’re headed. Three dancers and a musician guide you through a playful, physical performance full of rhythm, absurdity and recognition. No stage, no seats – just a circle of people on the Almere Speelt festival grounds.

Part of the experience is a colorful parade, where performers and audience walk together in pajamas, with pots, pans and a megaphone. Then the circle becomes a space for sharing. There’s laughter, stories and quiet moments – about home, about choices, about connection.

This performance marks the beginning of a larger community project in the neighborhoods of Almere, where Plan d- will collect personal stories together with local residents. About feeling at home – in your street, your square, your city. The theme connects with the podcast series Almere Vertelt by Vis-à-Vis at De Rode Haring.
