ToeToe Workshop (Future & Accessibility) is a visionary project by Plan d- where we build an inclusive future for the performing arts. Here, talent development meets a vision of accessibility: whoever you are, and whatever you need.<\/p>\n
At ToeToe, performers with diverse accessibility needs collaborate as equals on performances. We see the diversity of backgrounds, bodies, languages, and movement styles as an enrichment of the artistic process. We create a safe and professional environment where there is room for experimentation, for being different, and for encounters. Not as an exception, but as a starting point.<\/p>\n
We consistently observe that children are more open than adults. In our inclusive youth performances, they don’t see “an actress in a wheelchair,” but simply a character who matters. By demonstrating this naturalness from an early age\u2014with diverse performers and, for example, the use of sign language\u2014we contribute to a future in which the performing arts truly belongs to everyone.<\/p>\n
ToeToe is a work in progress. We strive to be inclusive not only on stage, but also beyond: in our team, our communication, and our working methods. This requires reflection, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. That’s why we’re building a network with other creators, thinkers, students, and partners \u2013 to explore together what inclusion in dance and theatre truly means.<\/p>\n
